Don’t take life you didn’t create - Nigerian guitarist Fiokee reacts to d3ath sentence of his sister's k!ller

Nigerian guitarist, Ifiok Effanga, aka Fiokee, has reacted after the k!ller of his sister, Emem Effanga, was sentenced to d3ath. An Akwa Ibom State High Court on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, sentenced Ndifreke Isaiah Nelson to d3ath for k!lling his girlfriend, Emem Monday Effanga, an Uyo-based makeup artist. Weve been on this case since March last year. Thank God my sister has finally gotten JUSTICE. My message to everyone out there, dont take life that you didnt create," Fiokee wrote in a post on Thursday.Nelson, an usher in one of the new generation churches in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, k!lled Emem on February 6, 2025, and afterwards, stole her phone.It was gathered that on the day, at about 7am, the convict visited Emem, at No. 102, Aka Road, opposite NEPA Line, Uyo, where she lived, to use her phone to post his birthday pictures on social media.He, however, ended up struggling with her over the phone, and in the process, slammed her head against the wall and then strangled her to d3ath.After committing the offence, Nelson fled with the deceaseds phone, but on February 8, 2025, at 2am, he was tracked down to his church, located on Nsikak Eduok Avenue, Uyo, where an all-night service was being held.During interrogation, the convict confessed to the crime.In his ruling, the trial Judge, Hon.
