Economics Teacher (Secondary School) at Total Child School

Total Child School is a co-educational Nursery, Primary and Secondary School. Teaching and Learning:


Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in the assigned subject(s) in accordance with the approved curriculum.
Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching materials.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods where appropriate.
Set high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.


Assessment and Reporting:


Design and administer classwork, assignments, tests, and examinations.
Mark and provide constructive feedback on students’ work promptly.
Maintain accurate records of students’ academic progress and attendance.
Prepare report comments and communicate student progress to parents and school leaders.
Use assessment data to inform instructional planning and interventions.


Classroom Management:


Establish and maintain an orderly, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
Enforce school rules, policies, and procedures consistently.
Promote positive behaviour and student responsibility.


Student Development and Pastoral Care:


Monitor students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Provide guidance and support to students as needed.
Identify students requiring additional support and refer them appropriately.
Serve as a form tutor or class teacher when assigned.
