BlackBerry Venice could be the first Android smartphone launched by the Canadian company. The slider leaked a few times already, which suggests that we're very close to an official reveal.

Obviously, we won't be hearing about the Venice anymore if BlackBerry decides to drop it from its portfolio, but for the time being, the unannounced slider is real and might be officially unveiled later this year.

Today, a new picture of the BlackBerry Venice has been published on Crackberry's forums, which shows us the virtual on-screen keyboard.

BlackBerry fans may notice that the keyboard doesn't really look like a traditional BlackBerry keyboard, but it's more attuned to Android OS.

The upper part of the phone has been edited to provide as little info on the source of the leak as possible, but there's no reason to believe that the image is fake, especially considering that the device shown is in line with what we've seen in previous photos.

No info on the phone's specs are present in the newest picture, so we're left with what we know from the previous rumors.

BlackBerry Venice has been confirmed by one of the pictures leaked not long ago to feature a 18-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording.

Aside from that, it's said that the smartphone will pack a 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front and a decent 5.4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.
