In what seems like one of the biggest collaborations out of Africa. Africa?s finest music acts have come together to re-record one of the world?s most popular song Quincy Jones? ?We Are The World? [originally written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie]. Artists who came together for this project include Banky W, Mafikizolo, Dr. Sid, Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Praiz, Di?Ja, Reekado Banks, Iceberg Slim, D?Prince, Diamond, Iyanya, Mosa, Sean Tizzle and others.
The song collaboration is aimed at lending a voice in the fight against the Ebola virus in Africa which has claimed the lives of thousands of people already. The video for the song is set to drop soon.
