It’s no secret that Rihanna has been working hard this year, but it’s paying off, literally, more than most of us would have expected. The 28-year-old beauty has landed herself a slot on Forbes’ annual list of highest-paid musicians, and she’s managed to climb her way into the top 5.

According to the website, RiRi comes in 5th place on the list, having earned herself a total of $75 million within the last year. This comes after the release of her highly-anticipated ANTI album, which she released through a deal with Samsung, the accompanying world tour, her collaboration with Puma, and endorsement deals with Dior and Stance. Believe it or not, she also beat out the likes of Beyoncé, who earned $54 million after she released her visual Lemonade album through Tidal, and hit the road for a sold out Formation Tour across the country.

Rihanna also reportedly beat out her rumored on-and-off again boyfriend, Drake, who earned himself $38.5 million in the year roundup, and closes out the list for the 30th slot. Surpassing the Bajan beauty’s earnings is no. 1 spot holder Taylor Swift at $170 million, One Direction at $110 million, Adele at $80.5 million, and lastly, Madonna at $76.5 million. Other names to hit the full list include Calvin Harris, Garth Brooks, Dr. Dre, Puff Daddy, Jay Z, and even Katy Perry. Take a look at the full list on Forbes, and let us know your thoughts on if you were surprised by the rankings.
